LEGAL NOTICE:

The Town of Stephentown, Rensselaer, NY, Town Board has extended the request for bids for lawn mowing at the Town Hall and Town Park. Sealed bids are due to the Town Clerk’s office by Friday, June 12, 2015 at 7:00PM, delivered or mailed to 26 Grange Hall Rd. Stephentown, NY. The Town Board has privileges to accept or deny any or all bids. Bids will be opened and reviewed at the next Regular Town Board meeting on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 7:00pm.

Notice of Adoption of Resolution Subject to Permissive Referendum-Sale of Portion of 17 Grange Hall Road

Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York, at a meeting thereof, held on April 20, 2015, duly adopted, subject to a permissive referendum, a resolution entitled "A Resolution Authorizing the Sale of a Portion of 17 Grange Hall Road to The Stephentown Memorial Library, Inc.," the contents of which are such that the Town Board shall sell the majority of the parcel located at 17 Grange Hall Road (located next to Town Highway Garage; portion of 196.3-1-3) for $36,322.00 plus services to be provided by said purchaser unless a petition signed by at the requisite number of electors is received by June 1, 2015 protesting said resolution and requesting a referendum thereon.
