The Town of Stephentown, Highway Superintendent is looking for applicants interested in a Full Time position with heavy equipment experience, CDL preferred, and a clean driving record. Interested applicants can pick up an application at the Town Clerk’s Office or at the Highway Department. Applications, cover letters and resumes are due to the Town Clerk’s Office located at 26 Grange Hall Road, Stephentown, NY. There is no deadline to have applications in at this time.

Bids Awarded

Awarded BIDs or RFPs will be posted here after each Board Meeting (if a RFP or BID was made the month prior during the Regular Board meeting):

The Town Board requested BIDs for a new Asphalt Hot Box, two BIDs were received, one from Trius Inc. and one from Spaulding Mfg., Inc.. The Town Board and Highway Superintendent reviewed both BIDs and would like to award Trius Inc. in the amount of $27,225.00 for a K&M International Hotbox. The Town Board has the rights to accept or reject any and or all BIDs.

The Town Board requested BIDs for the 2016 Town Hall Cleaning 2 BIDs were received by Kathleen Olson, and United Carpet & Floor Care. The Town Board would like to award the 2016 Town Hall Cleaning to Kathleen Olson of Stephentown, NY.

The Town Board requested BIDs for the 2016 Road Materials 3 BIDs were received by Senter of Stephentown, Quality Construction of Petersburg, and Rifenburg Construction from Troy. The Town Board has accepted all BIDs and leave the purchase of materials up to the discretion of the Highway Superintendent.

The Town Board requested BIDs for the 2015-2016 WinterSeason for the snow removal at the Town Hall and the Transfer Station. The Town Board would like to award Terry Sykes for the 2015 - 2016 winter snow removal.
